It is finished as a hand-painted acrylic, with visible brushwork and canvas texture rather than a filter over a photograph.
This is one of our portraits with people in it, so it takes extra care over faces — around a minute or two longer to paint than a pet on its own. Send a photo where everyone is clearly visible and facing the camera, and we keep every person recognisably themselves.
Available two ways: as a finished portrait we paint, print and post to you, or as a personalised paint-by-numbers kit — the same design as a numbered canvas with matching paints and brushes, so you paint it yourself.
